Many speculations have been going on about Jon Snow and his stint on the show as season 5 of "Game of Thrones" ended with cliffhanger and a dagger in Jon's back. However, Season 6 started with a bang and by the second episode presented the show's most priced possession back to their fans, Jon Snow. Kit Harrington apologized to his fans for lying about his death.

Reports pointed out that the resurrection ritual followed by Melisandre, the Red Witch, to bring Jon Snow back to life, was similar to the Renaissance paintings depicting Christ's resurrection after his death. Not that the publication compares the actor to Christ, but needless to say, he is the savior of the show.

There have been several reports that claim how hard it was Kit Harrington and others to keep Jon Snow's resurrection a top secret. Kit was worried that his fans would move without him after his death.

"I think my biggest fear was that people were not going to care, or it would just be, 'Fine, Jon Snow's dead,'" Kit Harington revealed about his "Game of Thrones" character. "But it seems like people had a, similar to the Red Wedding episode, kind of grief about it, which means that something I'm doing - or the show is doing - for Jon is right."

Carice Van Houten (Melisandre) revealed that the scene was shot several times. Houten was envied by many female fans as she got to touch and wash Harrington's body number of times. She even teased the female fans in one of her tweets.

Since Jon Snow's resurrection was a complete secret, a code name had to be adopted on the show's sets. The codename for him was LC (short for Lord Commander).

More characters will be introduced in the upcoming episodes of season 6 on "Game of Thrones" to be aired every Sunday at 9 p.m.
